One of Lazer’s mid-tier helmets, the Strada Kineticore uses the interesting and effective ScrollSys adjustment system. Operated by a rollable belt at the back, the system is easy to operate on the fly and a fun take on the traditional adjustment dial. The Strada uses Lazer’s proprietary Kineticore impact protection system and scored 5 stars from Virginia Tech. KinetiCore saves grams per helmets based on comparable previous models. This is achieved by using less material and lighter plastics in the construction of the helmet combined with the fact that KinetiCore is built in rather added on.
Every cyclist is looking for advanced levels of airflow through their helmet, and KinetiCore achieves this via clever positioning of the protective blocks as well as an overall reduction in the amount of material used in construction.
With KinetiCore, we have used less material versus traditional manufacturing while improving performance – we use up to 24% less plastic than previous comparable models.

Having made helmets for some of the world’s best cyclists like Tom Boonen, Paolo Bettini and 2022 Tour de France Green and Yellow jersey winners Wout Van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard, Lazer has not only proved itself at the highest level but gathered thousands of hours of ride testing and feedback from some of the all-time greats to design and improve its products.
In 2022, Lazer introduced one of their biggest innovations ever in Kineticore, their own in-house developed anti-rotational impact technology. Kineticore changed the game in the helmet sector because its part of the helmet, not added in post-production. That meant Kineticore helmets are lighter, better ventilated and use less material (and are therefore more eco-friendly) than anything else on the market.
Lazer also recently introduced the Cage, the first ever downhill certified full-face helmet to receive a 5-star rating from the independent testing lab at Virginia Tech University – considered the industry standard for bicycle helmet safety testing.
