Vittoria's Corsa Pro is the tan wall x tubeless collaboration we all wanted

Okay you got us. This isn't really a collaboration, it's more of a combination. But describing it as such makes it sound like two things we really, really, really like - being tan wall tyres and tubeless tyres - have got together to make our riding lives a better place to be, and we like that idea.

In reality, we have the wonderful people at VIttoria to thank for this. Makers of the Worlds Most Beautiful Tyres^TM, Vittoria have in the past only offered an either/or option when it comes to tan wall or tubeless tyres. As in, you can have tan walls or you can have tubeless but you can't have both. All this changes with the new Corsa Pro, a tyre designed to marry the highest level of performance with the loveliest aesthetics in a potent blend of style and substance.

So, what makes the Corsa Pro so good? Let's start with the 320TPI cotton casing. which now has a 100% seamless transition between casing and tread compound, and this increases suppleness which, in turn, improves ride quality. The compound itself features graphene and silica designed to offer good mileage while rolling as smoothly and quickly as possible.

If you're wondering about puncture protection, well the bead features a bead shield which is a reinforcing guard for extra protection, and underneath the tread the Corsa Pro has a high-density protection belt.

The Corsa Pro isn't just one tyre, though. There is a Corsa Pro Control as well. If the Corsa Pro is the professional's tyre of choice for standard race days, the Pro Control is the tyre they turn to when dealing with the most extreme road surfaces in races like Paris Roubaix or Strade Bianche. The Corsa Pro Control has an all-new fishbone tread texture for increased puncture protection, grip and extended wear life.

Both Corsa Pro and Corsa Pro control are tubeless-ready and will work perfectly with Vittoria's own Universal Tyre Sealant and tubeless valves, but for anyone who still can't shake that glue habit, there's a Corsa Pro tubular version as well.

If your a stat lover, Vittoria says that the TLR Corsa Pro offers a 12% improvement in speed/rolling resistance over the current Corsa, as well as an 18% boost in puncture protection. The Corsa Control has a 2% boost in speed and a 19% improvement in puncture resistance.

In terms of sizing, Vittoria has slightly tweaked their lineup now going with 24, 26, 28, 30 and 32mm sizes for the Corsa Pro, while the Corsa Control doesn't get the 24mm option but adds a 34mm at the upper end of the sizing spectrum.
