White Lightning has developed Crystal Grease for cyclists and mechanics who are simply unwilling to compromise on performance or ecology. An aluminum based thickening system makes Crystal Grease 100% water proof, perfect for wet weather road rides or stream crossings on a mountain bike. Premium hydro-treated base oils deliver smooth bearing lubrication and long-lasting durability. Crystal Grease will not attack gaskets, seals or carbon fiber. Crystal will not stain painted surfaces. Crystal Grease allows mechanics to visually identify wear and contaminate particles.

The Brand

Born out of necessity, White Lightning’s original goal was to find a way to end the messy inconvenience and performance inefficiencies caused by the dirt, grease and grime build up on bicycle chains. The company set out to develop the first and only chain lube that would ‘self-clean’, and Clean Ride was that product, becoming known throughout the industry because it actually repels and sheds dirt from the chain while you ride.

All of Wheels Manufacturing’s products are made to exact tolerances with the highest quality materials. It has an extensive range of equipment in its machine shop, and its deburring and polishing room makes sure that all products are finished properly and come out looking perfect.

If you need a third-party derailleur hanger or a bottom bracket, then Wheels Manufacturing is the answer to your dreams. They don’t just make bottom brackets for just about every standard on the market, they make screw together BBs that eliminate noises and creaks so that you can just fit, forget and enjoy the ride.
