"Even before I started work as a bike mechanic in the mid-90s, bikes were a way of life for me and this is still true to this day. Having spent years working within the industry in different bike-related positions, it's great to be able to run my own workshop and bring my experience to our customers. I love working on all types of bikes and of course speccing and building new bikes is always fun - it's true what they say, you can never have too many bikes!" Alan Russell, Store Manager.
With over 20 years of experience, we provide bike repair and servicing for cyclists across Angus and Aberdeenshire. Equally at home servicing the classics as well as the latest technology that the industry has to offer, and everything in between, we treat every customers bike as our own.
A range of parts are stocked, but for anything else that's needed we can usually get parts on a next-day basis - we'll always aim to get you back on your bike as soon as we can. For mountain bikes, we also offer suspension servicing on forks, rear shocks, frame bearings and dropper seat posts - not only does regular servicing keep them feeling great, but given the cost of the components it's important to look after them as this can save you a fortune in the long run!
As a small workshop it would be impossible for us to stock all the parts and accessories that our varied customer base would like to see, but working with Freewheel is the next best thing - customers have a choice of what they need, backed up with our advice and help where needed. If you're not sure what would be best for your requirements, or perhaps need some advice, we're always happy to help - just get in touch.
