"Hi, Oban Cycles is owned and managed by Mark and Christina. Both of us love getting outdoors and riding our bikes, and failing that we love to talk about riding our bikes or hearing other peoples tales! Andrew works with us and commutes into work along the scenic Sustrans route 78. We feel passionately about encouraging people onto two wheels, as lowering our environmental footprint is really important to us. We are based in Oban which is the 'Gateway to the Isles', the perfect location for exploring the outer and inner Hebrides (and everywhere in between)." Mark Cardwell, Store Manager.

About the store

We are a small, but well stocked store with a busy workshop where we look after our local riders and aim to keep the hundreds of cycle tourist that pass through Oban rolling. We also like to spec and build custom bikes that suit your exact needs, be that a burly gravel bike or that dream MTB or road bike. Due to our location in Oban we are the "Gateway to the Isles" and hire touring bikes and mountain bikes for day or week to enable people to explore the stunning Hebrides and Highlands by road or off-road.
