Cycles Clements

About the store

Cycles Clements is a small, family run bike shop. We have a busy workshop and are happy to repair any make of bicycle. As well as general repairs and servicing, we also offer custom builds, wheel building, servicing of Campagnolo Ergolevers, bleeding of Shimano and Avid disc brakes, servicing of bikes with Campagnolo or Shimano DI2 electronic gears, servicing of Shimano Steps E bikes, etc. Having studied Italian at university and having lived in Italy for a while, I think I have given the shop a certain Italian flavour. A Campagnolo Pro Shop, we carry large stocks of Campagnolo components and spare parts and work on a lot of Campagnolo equipped bikes from quite far afield. We are also the sole UK and Ireland agents for Simoncini frames, which we can offer as custom built bikes. We also have good stocks of Shimano components and spares. Although my personal passion is for racing bikes, we also stock a range of Merida bikes in other styles hybrids, E Bikes, mountain bikes, children’s, gravel, etc. We also stock the Squish range of lightweight children’s bikes.

STORE NAME

"My name is Edward Clements. As soon as my father, Ernie Clements, opened the original shop in New Street in 1990, when I was 15, I joined him on Saturdays and during the school holidays. He was National road race champion several times and won a silver medal at the 1948 Olympics, before going on to found Falcon Cycles. I was eager to learn the trade, as the third generation in my family to work in it. Soon I was cycling over from home in Malvern and then joined the Worcester St John’s Cycling Club and enjoyed taking part in time trials, road and circuit races and hill climbs. Although I never quite reached the standard of my father and his brothers, my love of cycling and in particular road racing bikes, has never diminished and I still keep fit by cycling to and from the shop in Ledbury from my home in Malvern." Edward Clements, Store Manager.
