How to Measure

Chest/Bust

1. Measure around the fullest part, around bust points, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

1. Measure around the narrowest part (typically the small of your back and where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.

Hips

1. Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

Leg Length (Inseam)

1. Inseam refers to the length of the garment, from crotch seam to hem. Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg opening.


Tip Ask someone to read the measurement for better accuracy or read the measurement in front of a mirror. If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure the string.

How To Measure:
 
Circumference of the hand: 

  1. Place a soft measuring tape between your thumb and index finger and hold the tape with the thumb of the hand you are measuring. 
  2. Wrap the tape around the back of your hand over the knuckles. Once the tape is back to where you started clench your hand and take the measurement. You might need to reposition the tape.
  3. Record the number at the point where the tape measure meets itself.

Length of the hand: 

  1. Measure from the top of the middle finger to the bottom of your palm.

Tip Take a few measurments to be sure (it's a lot easier with someone's help). If you don't have a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure the string.
