"Bicycles & Tandems by Design offers a level of service that gives confidence to cyclists from around the world. We offer to service all makes of bicycles/tandems, bought, used or discovered elsewhere to bring them back to a rideable life. E-bikes are also here in great strength and are available for Test Riding along with our Demo Bicycles and Tandems.

We offer several hand-built frames and renovations of bicycles are a speciality, alongside our wheel building of all our wheels... for your bike or our builds.

Our speciality is simply fitting and sizing people to Bicycles and Tandems, so alongside Freewheel we can offer a fitting service before ordering any of the bicycles online so that the correct stem and maybe even handlebars are corrected for you along with a discussion about any other parts required that can be fitted at the time of collection.

Most bicycles are delivered the next day so from a fitting session to delivery can be as short as a couple of days. Come along and meet us and enjoy the experience of what is often quoted as “that’s what bicycle shops used to be like!” and whilst you are here our neighbours the Severnside Cafe/Bar have bicycle parking and outside maintenance stand free to use."
