UK Standard Delivery (2-3 working days)
UK Standard Delivery is free on all cycle accessories, clothing and parts orders over £30. Please note that orders may be split into separate parcels as Freewheel operates from two warehouse locations. Orders are dispatched Mon-Fri excluding bank holidays.
UK Next Day Delivery (Order before 1pm, 1 working days)
UK Next Day Delivery applies to cycle accessories, clothing and parts orders only, is operated by DPD and will only apply to orders placed before 1pm on Mon-Thurs. Orders placed after 1pm Thursday, will be delivered the following Monday. Deliveries are usually made anytime between 8am - 9pm. However, in most cases our couriers will text or email you a 1 hour time slot indicating when your delivery will be made. Please provide your mobile number when placing your order so that you can receive your delivery notification.
Standard Delivery is free on all orders over £30 excluding deliveries to Republic Of Ireland, Highlands, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Alternatively, Click and Collect at your local bike shop is also free of charge. subject to Store availability.
Proof Of Delivery
Priority and Next Day delivery are usually signed for services. Please make sure someone is in to sign for the parcel. Depending on which courier we use, you may be offered the option to deliver to a more suitable address. You can arrange directly with the courier that your parcel be left in a nominated safe place. Changes to delivery can either be made directly on the couriers website or app. Standard Delivery may also require a signature depending on what you order and which postal method is most suitable. Please note: We do deliver to business addresses as long as you clearly state where the parcel should be left. For example; if your place of work has a reception and a warehouse please state which location is the best option for our courier to obtain a signature. Once signed for we will consider that the order completed. Please make sure you are confident that whoever signs for your parcel on your behalf will notify you of its arrival. We will not resend parcels once we have received proof of delivery from the courier..
Once you place your order you'll receive an email telling you what will happen next. This may include a link that will allow you to track the progress of your order. For Priority and Next Day deliveries, please provide your mobile number so our couriers can send a text with more information about your delivery.
Part / Delayed Shipments
With such a large stock holding, Freewheel operates two large distribution centres which are in different locations. The products you order will determine which warehouse (s) your products will actually be dispatched from. Therefore, it is possible that you will receive separate deliveries. Please allow 14 days before contacting us regarding missing items as very occasionally our couriers can experience delays due to bad weather or other unforeseen factors.
All bikes can be shipped to your local Freewheel store or your home, depending on your preference*.
Home Delivery Bike Orders
For all bikes delivered to your home, please allow 3-5 working days for your bike to arrive. This is to allow adequate time for a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and subsequent safety checks carried out by a skilled bike technician prior to shipment. When you receive your bike, you will need to adjust the handlebars and seat-post height. Instructions on how to do this are provided with the bike. If the bikes comes with pedals, these will already be fitted to the bike for you. Adventure and childrens bikes will come with 2 hex keys and a spanner, however, for all other bikes, you will require either a 4mm, 5mm or 6mm hex key to adjust your bike. For Di2 and step bikes, the battery will need to be charged prior to use.
Click and Collect Bike Orders
For all Click and Collect orders, your bike (excluding Adventure Bikes) will undergo a pre-delivery inspection (PDI) and subsequent safety check by a skilled bike technician in-store. Once this is completed, your chosen Freewheel store will contact you informing you that your bike is ready for collection. Payment is made to the store directly. Please note, some stores may request a deposit prior to building your bike if they do not have the bike model in stock at the time of ordering and will contact you to discuss this.

If our courier attempts to make a delivery and no one is at home, they'll leave a card informing you what will happen next. In most cases they may attempt to get a neighbour to sign for your parcel, or redeliver the following day. All options will be listed on the card along with a contact number.
Amending Address Details
Not once an order has been placed: For security reasons you can't change your delivery address once you've placed an order. Please make sure you check that the information is correct prior to submitting your order. We protect customers from address fraud and orders being redirected to an unauthorised address after a purchase has been made. However, it is possible to update your delivery address for the next order you place. Registered customers can amend address details any time by tapping or clicking on My Account.
