Vittoria Tyres now available on Freewheel

As announcements go, this one has us at Freewheel pretty excited: Vittoria tyres are now available on the site.

Vittoria make some of the very finest tyres in the world with huge wins to their name in races like the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia, Vuelta a Espana, Paris-Roubaix and Milano-Sanremo to name just a few. They’ve also hoovered up over 80 Olympic medals across multiple disciplines so it’s fair to say that they know a thing or two about making top level tyres.

Based in the beautiful Bergamo region of Italy, Vittoria produces over 7 million tyres every year and since in 2015 introduced Graphane technology into their tyres, becoming the first brand to break that ground.

At the top of the road range sits the Corsa, a road tyre with no equal that you can see right now on the roads of France at Le Tour and they’ve already picked up a win this year under Alexander Kristoff of UAE Emirates on the very first stage. If that’s not enough, four other teams are using Vittoria tyres in this years’ race: EF Pro Cycling, Lotto Soudal, NTT Pro Cycling and Jumbo-Visma.  

Coming in 23, 25, 28 or 30mm widths, the Corsa is the ultimate race tyre; light, supple and now tubeless-ready too, all using the Graphene 2.0 compound for greater speed a reliability. There’s also the Corsa Control for those who still want speed but with added puncture protection – it’s a great tyre for training.

But it’s not all about the road, as MTB, gravel and cyclocross riders are very well looked after by Vittoria as well and that’s not even mentioning their more practical tyres for urban and electric bikes.
